Internationally acclaimed, multiple-award-winning artist, Jenny Bruce, is out with her new art-pop project, GhostE with her latest single, “Stay Up With Me Tonight” currently available on all platforms, (Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Deezer etc.). “Stay Up” is a seductive, sultry summer track reminding us that while “the smart kids are all in bed, there’ll be lots of time to sleep when we are dead.” Inspired by Dylan Thomas’s poem “Do Not Go Gently Into That Good Night, GhostE channels Thomas’ battle cry, “rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

“Stay Up” is from GhostE’s new upcoming album produced by NYC studio veteran, Matt Anthony (Pat Monahan (Train), Darius Rucker (Hootie & The Blowfish), and Shinedown, among many other renowned musicians and artists). GhostE, the album, is set to be released on Friday, October 30, 2020.

For the past 30 years, Jenny Bruce, the artist behind GhostE, has enjoyed a rewarding career as an independent singer-songwriter. She performed in hundreds of venues, released 4 independent albums, and won multiple songwriting awards (Billboard, International Songwriting Competition, John Lennon, and dozens more). Her songs have been heard on Dawson’s Creek, Ghost Whisperer, The Today Show, King of the Hill, All My Children, among many other national TV shows and independent films.

Bruce decided that she was ready to break out of the singer-songwriter box. “I created GHOSTE to be the sonic embodiment of how I’m feeling at this time in life. One day we’ll all be very, very quiet. Until then, I am feeling Dylan Thomas’ poem to the core. And I will not be quiet. These last years have been very challenging, but I have never felt more alive, confident! So, I needed a dramatic, cinematic sound to capture my passion for life and for music.” Bruce teamed up with prominent producer/composer, and long-time friend, Matt Anthony (also half of the band, Tammany Hall NYC), who created these pulsating, haunting, ethereal art-pop tracks for her debut album as GHOSTE.

Be sure to check out the new single, “Stay Up With Me Tonight”, by GHOSTE from her new self-titled album, out October 30th. Just in time for Halloween!
