It’s a song that expresses the intense longing & return that one feels for a past love!
Of not wanting to go through the emotional stages of denial, anguish, letting go or worse still,
moving on while they still hold your heart!
An emotional plea that’s now delivered with a bit of a more soft and sympathetic Popish feel!
Franky & Wendy
Franky Valentyn is a multi-talented award winning artist (described by UK Prog mag
as a musical ‘polymath’), who has performed in many of Sydney’s iconic cover bands
and is the creative force behind The Franky Valentyn Project!
(Besides ‘Franky & Wendy’, he is also the featured keyboardist in The Mad Cow Band
and regularly receives guest invites to perform live with other acts!)
His lovely and amazing vocal partner Wendy Angel, is a talented performer who Franky
partnered after judging her performance in a talent contest (fyi she didn’t win!) and whilst
Franky takes a background stage role as a musician/arranger, Wendy is upfront leading
the duos originals.
Franky & Wendy are now back performing up to 3-5 gigs a week on Sydney’s major Pub & Club
Entertainment circuit, with occasional regional tours. (as well as morphing into their much loved
and award winning children’s show, ‘Fun With Franky’ during school breaks!)
Their previous releases include ‘Dream on Me’, (still charting) ‘One of your Schemes’,
‘Running Away’ and ‘Angel on My Shoulder’.
