BIRMINGHAM, AL (October 2018) – String Side Music, a BMI affiliated publishing company, is pleased to announce the release of Crossing The Sun by Far From Final. This new group, founded by Singer/Songwriter W. A. Wyatt, is now ranked as a Reverb Nation TOP 5 ROCK BAND based out of Birmingham, AL. The group has complimented the new release with the launch of a new website http://farfromfinal.com and is currently building a following on all major social media and streaming platforms. Pulling from foundational styles of guitar work found in 80s and 90s rock, there are a total of ten tracks on the album ranging from acoustically driven material to up-tempo melodies rooted in heavy guitar. The album is now available for download and streaming on all digital platforms. Far From Final is also planning to promote the new album in regional performances, dates and venues to be announced.
ABOUT FAR FROM FINAL:
“Never let go of your passion.” These are the words from W. A. Wyatt, the founder of Far From Final. As a lead guitarist and vocalist for a 90s cover band, Wyatt fell in love with rock music at an early age and never let go of what inspired him to create music. Drawing from the melodies and heavy guitar riffs found in various styles of rock, Wyatt channels his own lyrics about life and circumstance into more fundamental sounds. As a self composer, Wyatt compiled a large collection of original songs and ideas in his home studio. Stylistically each song carries its own identity with respect to influence. Rather than following a template, Wyatt states that in songwriting, he follows the “no rules” standard by choosing the type of guitar work that best expresses the mood and meaning of his lyrics.
In 2016, Wyatt partnered with Ben Trexel of Ben Trexel Studios in Birmingham, AL to produce Crossing The Sun. Each song was re-produced and later mastered by Brian “Gibbs” of Tool Shed Studios in Morgan Hill, CA.
