Evan Page is a 16-year-old indie pop musician based in north Idaho. Trained from an early age on piano and guitar, his appetite for music spans a range of genres, from oldies to mainstream pop to folk to indie rock. His new song, 80 Degrees, is a summery indie pop song with a hint of wistfulness. It explores themes of changing seasons, endings and new beginnings, living life in the moment, and recognizing what you have before it’s gone. Upbeat guitar and synths are combined with a laid-back drum beat, creating a perfect song for summer drives, beach days, or a barbecue in the park.
