Emily Perry – Sugarcoated

Emily Perry – Sugarcoated: With a blaze of bold, vibrant sound and exotic pop/electro blends that reflect the confidence of an artist truly on the rise, Emily Perry has released her debut collaboration with talented DJ, Alius.

Sugarcoated has excited fans, peers and music critics with its insatiable blend of Emily’s unique, charismatic tone and a fresh, new electronic sound. A number of remixes have been released and are receiving play in clubs worldwide.

“Sugarcoated is a swag of electronic beats and sound with a hooky melody, lyrics and soothing vocals.” said platinum award-winning singer and producer, Bec Caruana.

Emily Perry has been singing and dancing from the time she could talk and walk. She fell in love with singing and dancing after performing in her first concert at just four years old and hasn’t stopped since.

While her spare time was filled with dance, vocal and drama classes along with competitions and performances, it was acting which first presented itself professionally and Emily made a name for herself starring in various film and television projects. Following a trip to Los Angeles on a Talent Development Project, the opportunity to pursue her love of music was presented and she began working with a platinum award-winning producer.

Now at just 17, she has spent the last two years travelling between Sydney and Los Angeles, completing a full-time dance program in Sydney and honing her singing skills recording a number of covers in Los Angeles.

“In this song I combined my passion for contemporary/dance music as well as my interest in intense EDM. Although the lyrics were personal to me, they will definitely resonate with a wide audience. I worked with an amazing creative team and it really helped bring fresh, inspiring ideas throughout the process. This song means a lot to me, especially being my first recorded original, and I’m excited to share it with everyone. ”

This multi-talented artist is set to release more new music next year as she works towards her debut album.
