EchoSoul just released a brand new studio effort: Crucible of War
February 2021 – EchoSoul a band with a focus on creating hard-hitting metal music with a distinctive edge to it. The group’s most recent studio effort is a raw and impactful piece of music titled Crucible of War.
This release has a very organic feel to it, and what I love about it is the fact that it brings together some elements that you might not expect to work well together, but not only they do – they actually excel, creating a fascinating and distinctive sound that’s truly personal to EchoSoul as a band. You’ll find a modern vibe in the production, but there is also an old-school flair, which is reminiscent of iconic acts such as Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. Crucible of War is an example of how this band managed to carve its own sonic identity, without necessarily following any musical trend or sticking too close to the group’s direct influences. Having said that, fans of artists such as Iced Earth, Ghost Ship Octavio and Nevermore are definitely going to connect with Crucible of War.
