Duke Charelle returns with his new single release, ‘Epilogue’
Duke Charelle is an award winning multi-instrumentalist who is signed to Sony AMG. He works with and records with members of Funkadelic. On this release, a spoken word poem is spoken over an instrumental piece (the instrumental piece was produced by Greg “G-Rock” Sanders of P-Funk Outlawz and Gorilla Funk mob, and is known for his work with Chaka Khan and Shelia E). Duke Charelle Plays rhythm and lead guitar, along with Dummie Deporres (who is known for his work with Funkadelic, as well as events with Public Enemy), with Dean Ragland (drums for Funkadelic, Parliament Funkadelic, Prince, Bootsy Collins) on drums and xylophone. Duke Charelle plays a Theremin near the end of this spoken word poem about a woman who wants to rule the universe and a man (referenced as the androgynous one), falls for her every whim. An instrumental based on improvisation.
