Born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, currently in the province of Rhode Island United States rapper and singer Damilola Sandewa known as Dr.Jay laid his introspective rhymes and different African tune atop melodic trap, resulting in a hybrid that will be becoming the new style of trap music.
Influenced by artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Lil Wayne and Post Malone, Dr.Jay began recording in his dads living room with his brothers at the age of 16. Dr.Jay hopes to make he’s way into the music industry and the big screen with his newest single Not Good Enough.
