We catch up with Dobie for this exclusive interview on ArtistRack:
Where are you from?
I was born in Zagreb, Croatia, and momentarily I am living on the relation Croatia – Ireland.
How long have you been making music?
Almost 20 years, but before I did some music commercial clips, and some projects for the live performances.
How many songs /albums have you released to date?
I released two singles, “My everything” and “Bambola”, working on new projects.
Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?
My latest release “Bambola” is inspired by one very very ssspecial person – Bambola (on Italian language dolly).
How have you ended up in the music industry?
My friends pushed me “in”.
What do you think of the music industry in 2016?
A lot of innovations, creativity, ideas, changes, which is very good and fun.
Who do you think the most influential artist?
Djuka Cajic
Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?
Mostly producers, Brad Grobler, B-men, Gordan NIA, and my friend musician Nik.
How do you think you differ from other artists?
Each of us is different and special in their own way. For me, others are saying that I’m very talented with melody and sound, and that my music inspires emotion. Check for your self.
Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?
Chris Lowe, Brad Grobler, Jean Michael Jarre …
What was the first album you bought?
Actually – Pet Shop Boys
What is your favorite saying?
Only openly and honestly!
What other hobbies or interests do you have?
My dobremann Cortez and history
Do you have any tattoos or piercings?
Nope
Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?
I just finished Remix for SoBE Lash song The Pretty Reckless and I am working on the new remix of My Everything, a new song Love Ssstory and the new project of Dobie Records called Spell Code, quite busy.
