David Luke releases his new single titled ‘Chemical’

When you have a history of writing and performing beautifully crafted pop songs that are tinged with influences that include legends such as James Taylor, Elton John and Billy Joel it’s inevitable that your debut album will be eagerly anticipated.

David Luke really has paid his dues in the traditional way. Writing and performing around the UK to a growing and appreciative audience. Two years in it’s creation Stop The World is a brilliantly thought out collection of songs. Lyrically intelligent and musically powerful the album has emotion coursing through its veins. As well as the aforementioned classic singer/songwriter influences David’s other influences include Country performers such as Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood. David Luke’s soulful voice is a rare thing of beauty and looks certain to project David Luke and Stop The World well beyond his West Yorkshire roots. With the track Chemical already receiving support from BBC Introducing David Luke is set to continue his progression towards a deserved larger audience.
