Christopher Wilson – Corner

Christopher Wilson PRESENTS the visuals for: Corner

Hailed by Indie-Music.com as, “A troubadour from olden times who’s just visiting this era.”, indie rocker Christopher Wilson has garnered many positive reviews for his dynamic brand of folk pop, acoustic rock, and alternative rock songs.

Wilson released his solo debut album East Mall Daze in 2001. The single “How Why & When” was featured on the inflight entertainment of the Delta Air Lines fleet, while its music video went into rotation on the Austin Music Network. Wilson’s sophomore album Read On (2006) charted in the CMJ Top 30 at a number of college radio stations in the USA, while receiving airplay at well over 300 college and public radio stations worldwide.

After a long hiatus, Wilson returns with Insular—his third album—slated for release August 3, 2021. Insular is a concept record about mental health in the electronically connected modern world, each song reflecting a unique state of emotional isolation. Two rock singles—and accompanying music videos—have been released ahead of the entire album: “Numb” explores the depths of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), while “Corner” amplifies Wilson’s personal concern over the ongoing scourge of gun violence in America. The third single, “Reaching Out”, was released on March 15, 2021. “Reaching Out” is a folk pop ballad about being vulnerable as a human being, reaching out to friends in times of need. Most importantly, the positivity and light that we reap from this experience. Stay tuned!
