Artistrack brings to you ‘Days I Cry’ by Chandler Stephens
Chandler Stephens is an aspiring country singer-songwriter. She grew up loving many different genres of music but country hit home the most. It’s honesty and authenticity spoke to her that’s why she wrote this song.’Days I Cry’ is one of the most personal songs she has every released. It shines a light on mental health and how hard some days can be. She said “ I wrote this song when I was in a really dark place, my dad had just passed away and the pain wouldn’t stop. All of my life I’ve felt like I had to be the strong one but I was at a breaking point where I just couldn’t do it anymore. I had to let that go and know it was okay to feel what I was feeling. So I wrote this song about it. If you are feeling this way I want you to know you are not alone and it’s okay not to be okay”.
