CARRÉ – Turn Down The Choir

Los Angeles, August 20, 2021 – LA-based French psychedelic electronic rock trio CARRÉ is back with a new single, “Turn Down the Choir,” out today, August 20. Imagine Pink Floyd’s The Wall crossed with LCD Soundsystem on a trippy LSD journey. This psychedelic driving techno is really on point with the French trio’s unique brand which they premiered last Spring on their self-titled debut EP earning them massive respect. “Turn Down the Choir” follows the release of their recent remix for “Freeform” by French multi-instrumentalist A.T.M., from last summer’s self-titled debut EP. The band is preparing a full length LP for 2022.

This new single is a 5-minute opus broken down into 2 main parts: starting with a more melancholic minor set of verses setting the journey of self reflection, followed by the major uprising of the song carried by the gang vocals shouting “we are the common theme”. The subject matter of this piece fits the mindset of the previous EP, a battle between self consciousness and the quest of losing control. The single is written and produced by CARRÉ, mixed by Jules de Gasperis, and mastered by Joe Lambert with artwork by Marc-André Beaudouin.
