Artistrack brings to you ‘Bridging Oceans’ by Bridging Oceans
“We think Bridging Oceans might be the first ever Ukrainian & Australian metal band.”
Stuart is a full-time RACQ roadside technician living in Brisbane, Australia, he is the drummer and lyricist for Bridging Oceans. Stanis is a full-time sound designer in the gaming industry living in Kyiv, Ukraine, he is the vocalist and guitarist of Bridging Oceans. They’ve both been in several bands in the past but started this band as a way to continue to create music by taking gigs off the table and allowing more time to focus on simply making the best music that they can.
Moving forward they intend to abandon the traditional album format and continue to release singles, they have two more songs on the way very soon titled “Tough Love” & “Deja Vu”, as well as plans for a music clip or two by the end of the year. Despite at their core being a non-gigging band, it’s definitely a goal for the two members to meet in person one day and hit the stage together.
Their latest release titled “Bridging Oceans” is a perfect storm of hope and hate, it was written off the back of their debut release “Not Lost” in December last year. It was written while Kyiv was bombed and attacked by drones, during power outages and cold winters, it is a tale of manifesting your own destiny, a tale of ensuring your own luck through hard work, a tale of triumph against adversity, a tale of Bridging Oceans.
