Billy Jeter is an independent folk-rock singer songwriter whose roots sink deep into the banks of the Mississippi Delta. Vivid and truthful, his writing reflects his experiences and observations both from growing up in the deep south and from today’s travels west and beyond. A storyteller influenced by nature, art, politics and heritage, his sound has most often been compared to Tom Petty, Neil Young and The Band. Artfully balanced between melodic Listen and high energy sounds, Jeter’s organic musical sense can coupled with believable, truthful lyrics. A third generation Arkansan, Jeter’s circle of influence includes his ) family concocted of spirited writers, painters and folk musicians.
Jeter shares his year between Little Rock, Arkansas and Crested Butte, Colorado. While enjoying his roles as husband, father and musician, he also maintains a 40-year career in finance.
