Big Mountain County – What?

Big Mountain County is back with a brand new release: “What?”.

Big Mountain County is a band from Rome, Italy. Their sound blurs the lines between heavy psychedelic rock and other influences, ranging from classic rock music to alternative, and pretty much anything in between. These talented rockers are able to create a thick soundscape, reminiscent of artists such as Black Angels, A Place To Bury Strangers, Dead Rituals, or All Them Witches, only to mention a few. The song kicks off with a fat, punchy drum beat and it immediately tops it off with a monolithic guitar riff, reminiscent of bands such as Queens Of The Stone Age or Royal Blood, but more primal in its raw essence. The vocals have a bit of a post-punk flavor, especially due to the in-your-face attitude and the charisma of the vocalist.

The vocal effects are totally on-point and the keyboard parts add a really nice extra wave of tone in the background, giving the song a bit of a retro twist, as the sound is kind of reminiscent of a retro sing or one of those 60s organ parts!
