ALKALIMETRY presents: Lessons in Love.
February 2022: ALKALIMETRY has recently released a new track, “Lessons in Love,” which feels like a really good gateway to the band’s unique acoustic gothic and industrial soundscapes.
Lessons in Love happens to be the 5th release from ALKALIMETRY’s upcoming album. This new song shows that the band continues to cultivate their unique blend of influences. On one hand, there is a retro element to the sound of the band, tipping the hat off to the golden age of electronic music, industrial and gothic sounds: the 80s. On the other, their sound has a decidedly modern flavor, especially when considering the high quality and clarity of the production that makes the songs so accessible and easy to relate to for fans of indie and alternative music with somewhat of a darker flavor.
Fans of artists such as The Cure, Dead Rituals, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, or DIIV should most definitely check out this song, which is definitely going to be something for them to consider if they are into this darker, more mellow approach to music.
