ALKALIMETRY introducing their new studio work: Hey There!.
January 2022 – ALKALIMETRY is a band that blurs the lines between a wide variety of influences; ranging from the punch of modern alternative EDM, down to the interesting textures of trance and other styles, such as new-wave and synth-pop, but with a really inspiring futuristic touch that is also reflected in ALKALIMETRY’s imaginative artworks to accompany their musical output.
ALKALIMETRY has just unveiled a brand new single titled “Hey There!” which is a great way for the group to kickstart the new year! The track stands out due to its sustained dynamic energy and ever-evolving sonic textures, which provide such a distinctive and one-of-a-kind approach to building layers and allowing a wide array of different sounds to merge well and create soothing soundscapes. All the while, they still managed to keep a steady and energy-driven flow. Fans of artists such as Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails or Gorillaz will definitely feel at home here!
Hey There! is ALKALIMETRY’S fourth single release off their upcoming, self-titled, debut album. It is a departure from their traditional acoustic rock sound with a more techno dance sound with hard driving beat, clever keyboard riffs and lyrics that reflect the contrast between ego and vulnerability in all of us.
