December 2021 – ALKALIMETRY is a pop-rock duo with a broad scope of influences, leading them to develop a truly unique sound that knows no boundaries in terms of extensive versatility. The pair consists of Ryan Hamilton and Patricio Bruno, who aren’t just fellow musical collaborators: they are also a couple, who are very much in love and share a strong creative and personal bond in many aspects of their life. Ryan is a skilled guitarist and bass player, while Patricio complements the music with keyboards and additional bass parts. They’re both producers and singers, as well as contributing to the musical compositions in equal doses. ALKALIMETRY have always been interested in touching on deep social and contemporary issues with their music, and “Bee Sting” is no exception. This song is an acute observation on the struggles of drug addiction, and it is a very thought-provoking track that talks openly about a topic that most people chose to avoid.
