Barry Mehiel is a DJ and producer based in Italy. He has been on the scene since the early 90s, when he used his trusty tape recorder and a beat up Lenco turntable to learn how to mix music at the young age of 15. That was the start of a life-long passion, which led Barry to develop some serious DJ skills and the ability to create engaging sets that connect with the audience.
He has been touring throughout Italy up until 2004, playing some of the countryβs hottest clubs. After an extensive hiatus from the music world due to personal reasons, Barry eventually realized that the calling for music was too strong to ignore. Heβs now back on the scene, ready to keep doing what he loved the most. Inspired by artists like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Frankie Knuckles and others, heβs back at it producing new music.
His latest single is aptly titled βThe Resurgence of Poseidon.β This charming song name could be seen as a metaphor for Barryβs timely comeback and it is a refreshing track that feels modern and inspiring, but that also captures the artistβs long-standing experience as a musician, DJ, and producer.
