Early in 2022 Bubba decided it was time to head to the studio to pursue his dream of recording a full length album. From humble beginnings screaming covers for family and friends around campfires Bubba now how has something to show for his efforts. Writing songs that the everyday hard working blue collar family can appreciate. With early influences like Johnny cash, David Allan Coe and John Prine, strangely enough Bubba transitioned into playing punk and hardcore music in the early 2000s. However Bubba’s roots for early Americana country sounds have never wavered. So now more than ever he feels committed to writing the truth in his songs and whatever feels pure. Strong acoustic sounds with straight and powerful drums, all wrapped up with a raw vocal sound this is Bubba Bishop.
