CHECK-MATE ! – EZZIE-E GOES FROM FALLING IN LOVE TO CHEQUERED LOVE ON HER NEW INFECTIOUS RELEASE
2021 Has been an extremely busy & successful year for Australia’s First Lady of Pop. Her debut single premiered in February and is still riding high in global pop & dance charts around the globe, including holding a top ten position on the Global DJ charts, where for some artist(s) you are in one week and completely gone the next. Ezzie-E is here for the long term and her fan base has matured with her over the past few years. Deciding on the follow up release was a daunting task as Ezzie-E has been busy in the recording studio all year working on her forthcoming album, ‘Messy Love and Other Stuff’, schedule to drop Autumn 2022.
Chequered Love was the obvious choice, once the international remix superpowers of Del Spooner (whose star has been rising over recent times with remixes for Kylie’s – Disco Guest Edition album) and PM Record label friend Nate Kohrs (EnKADE) who has just completed working on projects with the Weekend, Lady Gaga & One Republic. Chequered Love is as infectious as it is addictive with the ability to relate the concept to the mind games of love, the different sides to love and personalisation. As in the Queens Gambert, the chequer board is a good vs evil happy vs sad situation that runs through all relationships we develop in life.
