Frankenfido dropping their new single, ‘Some Little Way’
‘Some Little Way’ is the 4th single from Brisbane band Frankenfido and which can be summed up in just three words, ‘disparity, deception and paradox’…something that in the end, is really a complete and utter contradiction all contained within one song!
Mixing the 70’s pop sensibility of ‘Supertramp’ with the 80’s progressive stylings of ‘Men at Work’ Frankenfido have entered into an uneasy partnership with post-modern rock production which now more than ever, they seek to evoke and recall the music triumphs of old with ‘Some Little Way’.
Frankenfido features an amazing array of talent which when grouped together, create a new style of music that can be best described as ‘simple grooving ‘Pop/Rock’ in the same vein as early Deep Purple or Pink Floyd with a song crossover as mentioned, to Supertramp and Men at Work!
Not unexpectedly then, Frankenfido’s music is both an intriguing and genre’ defying creation and one that explores the boundaries of artistry and encourages listeners to re-evaluate their preconceptions of what rhythm, melody and harmony really are!
