April 2021 – The Decayed is a band with a focus on creating hard-hitting and uncompromising music, inspired by hardcore, punk, and the raw streets of Southside Chicago.
The band’s most recent studio release is a single titled Abandon Hope. This track portrays the band’s furious dynamics, as well as their ability to combine timeless old-school influences with a crisp, contemporary sound.
Abandon Hope is incredibly well-produced, adding so much focus and depth to the sound of this amazing composition, and highlighting the natural chemistry between the band members. The sharp, ferocious sound makes the track all the more assertive and electrifying. With Abandon Hope, The Decayed certainly demonstrated a lot of passion, and extended focus on telling stories through music, reaching out to the audience with a more personal message, but without compromising in terms of fun, energy, and entertainment value.
