Katie Cole introduces her brand new single release, ‘Hands Tied’
It was recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville. Written by me. Produced by Howard Willing. Musicians on the song include Tim Pierce (electric guitar) , Fred Eltringham (drums), Jimmie Lee Sloas (bass), Tim Lauer (keys), Ilya Toshinskiy (acoustic guitars , with me).
And is about falling in love again despite yourself. After a break up, itβs always easy to say that youβll never fall again, or wonβt put yourself back out there again to be hurtβ¦. But this about it happening to you regardless. So thereβs internal struggle. Knowing itβs a good thing, but being pretty scared at the same time.

Australian born singer/songwriter is touring keyboard player and vocalist for The Smashing Pumpkins who played to an estimated 1.2 million people in 2018 and 2019 at iconic venues including Wembley (UK), Madison Square Garden, The Forum and Bridgestone Arena. Katie has recorded with Kris Kristofferson and the late Glen Campbell. Her recent solo EP “Things That Break Part 1 was featured in American Songwriter magazine.
