Ziad introducing one of his finest releases to date: Drunk.
April 2020 – Ziad is a rap artist based out of Canada. His music sets the bar higher, going for a modern, melodic approach to hip-hop. Recently, he dropped a hot new single titled βDrunk,β which also happens to be a highlight on his most recent studio EP, βThe Afterparty.β
Unsurprisingly, this EP was a big hit, especially in the US, where it helped cementify Ziadβs growing popularity. These 4 songs are all excellent, but there is something truly special about βDrunk,β which also happens to be Ziadβs own favorite from this particularly 2020 EP release.
Originally from Egypt, Ziad was actually raised in the United Kingdom as a child, but later moved to Canada as a teenager. This song reflects his keen international background and the wide range of influences that have inspired him as an artist. As a result, he managed to accomplish something groundbreaking, and create a sound that feels catchy, but also very personal and spontaneous, unlike any other artist out there on the scene today.
