July 2020 – UpRite Lions is a band with over 10 years of experience on the scene. The group has been progressively building an audience and making a name for themselves, creating forward-thinking hip-hop and R&B inspired music within a live-band format, not unlike artists like The Fuggees, The Pharcyde, Menahan Steet Band, and others.

The group made the cross-country trek from their native North Carolina to their new home-base of Las Vegas, and they never stopped refining their sound and creative formula. Their most recent single, “Lion VS Lyin” is a groove-driven track with a lot of warmth and a distinctive flow. This song is actually a very good introduction to UpRite Lions and the group’s creative vision as a whole.
