THE MORLOCK CREW – RISE AND SHINE

Check out, ‘RISE AND SHINE’ by THE MORLOCK CREW

P.R.ism – “PuertoRicanism” has been consistently releasing music on a monthly basis, for years! Coming out of Humboldt park – Chicago, Illinois, his sound is diverse. From painting dark pictures of the Humboldt park streets, where he is from, ranging to club bangers that fans enjoy to participate in when he performs.

With his new release, he enlists the wordplay of “THE MORLOCK CREW”. With a group name like that, you know they spawned directly from the Chicago underground hip hop scene. Though at first listen, the track, by Beefy808, may sound like trap. After the vocals come in to complement the beat, the listener will recognize the skillcraft and witty wordplay at work.

Lyrically, this song is not a glorification of the belligerent, but a testimony of men raised in hip hop and coming of age. A mature take on where it all started and what has become…of THE MORLOCK CREW.
