Sugar Well is a devoted singer/songwriter/poetess with a voice that will soothe the savage beast. As a Detroit native Sugar overcame great obstacles. Her passion for music maintained her sanity in a ruff environment. Raised in church, Sugar exercised her gift that led her to singing with various gospel artist like; Marvin Sapp, Vershawn Mitchell, Charles Laster and Twinky Clark.

Sugars’ inspiration began with her Beloved Mother and Father. As she embarked in a constant search of her true voice she took a liken to; Chaka Khan, Lala Hathaway, Jazmen Sullivan, Aretha Franklin, Angie Stone, Eric Badu, and Fantasia, just to name a few. The writing techniques of Sugar had engulfed her to blossom with poetic depth, compassion and awareness. Living for music is not easy yet Sugar Well claim victor every time.

In pursuit of music Sugar transcended over into Neo-Soul/R&B. Currently, Sugar is working in the studio with musicians that compliment her voice and talents. The projected Album – Sugar Well : The Awakening is due early 2020. Her earlier releases of “So Naturally”, “On The Floor” and “Maintain” and her NEW RELEASE OUTTA NOWHERE is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Google play and more. Sugar has been recognized and nominated for numerous awards in the Midwest and Southeast Region.
