Stoney Calzoney – I’m a Real Calzone

D.P. Dough Signs Calzone Rapper, Releases Music Video for new single, ‘I’m a Real Calzone’

COLUMBUS, OHIO – D.P. Dough, the nation’s largest calzone chain, has signed calzone
rapper, Stoney Calzoney, to a one album deal. He is the first calzone to receive a record
deal.

Calzoney was first noticed when his pizza diss-song “Food Rap Devil” was sent to D.P.
Dough world headquarters by dozens of fans. Negotiations immediately ensued.

“At first, I was hesitant to do a deal because D.P. Dough is not a record label,” said Matt
Crumpton, CEO of D.P. Dough. “But, Stoney has determination and drive you don’t see
these days, especially from a calzone.”

Calzoney has been on a mission to take down the pizza industry since his abandonment
at birth.

“The person who first ordered him fell asleep before his arrival, and it was pretty bad,”
said Crumpton. “Then he got back to the store and found out his original order-ticket was
lost so he never really knew his ingredients… tough kid.”

Dramatic setbacks, however, were not enough to prevent him from becoming a prolific
rapper and social influencer.

Stoney’s first official music video, “I’m a Real Calzone” comes out Friday, April 26th at
12:00 PM EST. Watch on YouTube.

His first album, R.I.Pizza, is set to release on 9/3/2019. It will stream on Spotify, Apple
Music, and Tidal.

“It’s time to show the world what calzones are made of,” said Stoney. “Pizza has been
on top for far too long.”
