Sonny Dumarsais is an artist and songwriter with a passion for great R&B vibes and dynamic pop melodies. Hailing from New Jersey, he started playing lead guitar for his church, before joining other musicians and starting a band named βPlan Bβ, later known as βThe Plan Band.β Through the experience, Sonny was able to shape up his artistry, and come up with a unique sound, laced with gospel, and rhythm & blues. In spite of some major setbacks, such as a fire destroying his family home and his possessions (such as his beloved guitar), he managed to keep playing music, and found solace in songwriting as a way to share his life tribulations, thoughts and ideas, beginning his solo career in 2017.

The release is a personal and intimate reflection on some of the artistβs experiences, including a break-up with a former girlfriend, which left him with a aching heart and a writerβs block.
