REG is back with a brand new EP release: Captivated Murder.
January 2021 – REG is an artist and songwriter based in Raleigh, NC. He recently released a new EP, which highlights the versatility of his flow and the one-of-a-kind take on hip-hop he managed to develop with his music.
This release is titled “Captivated Murder,” and it features a sound that tips the hat off to the golden age of the genre. Fans of legendary artists such as 2Pac Shakur, as well as Rakim, and Ice Cube DMX are certainly going to enjoy this one.
This EP is a perfect example of REG’s ability to create spontaneous lyrics, which really resonate with the listener, as opposed to making music that feels cookie-cutter and generic. “Captivated Murder” is a great example of what it means to bring some innovation to the rap game. The performance of the artist is focused and very vibrant, going for a more natural sound that’s not totally manufactured in the studio, but rather more genuine and real.
