January 2021 – P.R.ism (PuertoRicanism) might be based in Chicago, IL, but this musical act certainly carries the heat, passion and focus of Puerto Rico, and its kaleidoscopic culture into their music and essence. With his most recent studio single, the artist actually created one of his most personal and honest songs to date. In fact, his recent track “Code Of The Streets” actually deals with the topic of the artist’s own neighborhood, a place where he grew up and really had to learn how to be a man and make it into a world that at times can be quite cruel and unforgiving.
In addition to the personal bland of storytelling, “Code Of The Streets” stands out as a vivid lyrical example for P.R.ism (PuertoRicanism), who delivered so many incredibly sharp lines that are intelligently written and so deeply layered, connection with the audience.
