N.W.O. & The Terri Green Project collaborate on their new single, ‘Lost Inside Your Love’
The stars aligned when N.W.O. and The Terri Green Project joined forces. The hardworking duo behind The Terri Green Projects’ chart topping success, was introduced to Lenny Harris by way of soul crooner, Marc Staggers. Terri had no idea that three iconic musicians would become like family and begin to create music together with her partner Torsten Abrolat. The N.W.O. sound landed on the UK Soul #2 and US Indie Soul #1 record, Sneaking Out and the rest was history.
Terri and Torsten were humbled to have this dream of a lifetime collaborative effort on their
single and wanted to keep the fire burning. The duo dug in and wrote and produced more music with the band. No small order when you have this caliber of talent. Lenny Harris has
worked with such greats as Miki Howard, Wilton Felder, Jerry Butler, Heatwave and Chante
Moore, while childhood buddy, Wondel Brown toured alongside his musical partner Dr. Gilbert Pryor sharing stages with Barry White, The Temptations, Gladys Knight, Lena Horne, and even the queen of soul Aretha Franklin. Gilbert, nominated for a Grammy in 2020 for his tune, Lets Ride never ceases to amaze as we can’t forget his iconic arrangement of Trouble Funk’s multi platinum hit Pump it up. Lost Inside Your Love is a clear ear worm, that will keep you humming along. The track oozes classic soul finesse but continues to remain inviting to the grown and sexy dance floor. A who’s who in the world of soul and jazz musicians, the all star band includes, Jay Williams (Dave Koz, Gerald Albright) on drums, Mike Scott (Prince, Justin Timberlake) on guitar, Thomas Stieger ( The Terri Green Project, Gregory Porter, Sarah Connor) all lean in and deliver their own touch to the soulful evergreen. Torsten again lends his slick string arrangement to the track and a punchy horn section is masterfully delivered by N.W.O. The backing vocals from #1 Uk Soul artist Marc Staggers and Sibel Demirova (TGP backing singer), allow Terri to soar across without losing her charming touch and unique timbre.
