Mykal Fontenot. presenting new single, ‘Goodbye My Love’
This song signifies my acceptance of the recent ending of my four year marriage, which was quite difficult for me. I think, that of all the songs I’ve written, none have captured the emotions I was feeling at the time as much as this one. I tried adding piano, and strings, but decided that anything more took away from the “loneliness’, so I decided to keep it simple, with just a guitar/vocal track, and a background vocal track. And as always, I did my own camera/video work. Hope you enjoy
