Let It Go is the first track to be taken off the forthcoming EP ‘Dime’ from the collaboration between producer Moods and Future RnB singer/songwriter Nightingale. With Moods’ ethereal and emotive production and Nightingale’s soulful take on melody the pair come together in this sonic match made in heaven. They discovered a mutual admiration via Soundcloud and after hearing ‘Love Is Real’ on Majestic Casual, Nightingale reached out to Moods as a fan and the rest is history. For the past year, the two have been honing their own take on alternative R&B.
The last year has seen both artists’ stocks rise. Moods recently signed to well respected Netherlands Kraak & Smaak label Boogie Angst, and released two critically acclaimed EPs ‘Sincere’ and ‘Horizions’, which went on to garner support from BBC Radio 1 with spins from Monki and Toddla T. He was also invited to a Redbull Werk Session with Amsterdam based outfit Moovmnt and burgeoning vocalist Siam. Nightingale whose song writing prowess has landed her synch placements for Universal, has also just released her highly anticipated ‘Transition’ EP with long time collaborator and homie Slakah The Beatchild. The EP has received rave reviews and has helped to show the diversity of Nightingale’s songwriting as well as her versatile vocal style.
