Recently, the artist announced the release of a brand new project, “First Words.” This EP is a collection of astonishing studio tracks, as well as “Medusa Offspring,” a unique music video that brings a stunning visual element to the artist’s sound. Created along cult film-maker William Phelps and filmed by Randal Kleiser, the project is a true milestone for the artist, who set out to bring his hip-hop game to the next level.

Hip-Hop artist Medusa Son has spent the last two years grafting to progress his music style. His first live performance in over a year took place in LA and he electrified the crowd at Station 1640, showcasing to everyone that he is in fact a very serious threat to the crown of Hip-Hop.
Hailing from Cleveland, OH, Son was originally a label artist stamped in to Future’s Free Bandz Imprint until in his own words: “things went quiet for a while”. It was during this time that he decided to pack his things and head out to LA in order to pursue his Hip-Hop dreams more actively.
In Los Angeles, Medusa Son met Rabs, the label head of 2BYND Records who quickly snapped him up. And now, Medusa is ready to take the Hip-Hop world by storm with the release of his much anticipated debut EP ‘First Words’ via the 2BYNDS Records label.
His EP culminates his experiences through that dark but beautiful time when he first arrived in LA and started to make a name for himself on the Hip-Hop scene. The record is a four-track collection of high quality Hip-Hop tracks with strong beats and that something a little extra added to give it an almighty kick.
There is something missing from the charts right now and that is the addition of Medusa Son, who with this EP showcases his immense talents. No frills are needed to elevate this impressive artist who simply has Hip-Hop flowing through his veins.
Along with dropping ‘First Words’, Medusa has also shared the standout music video for ‘Medusa Offspring’ which is a cool clip that has a vibe like nothing else. This is pure fire and Son is highlighting that he is here to stay.
The video was shot by renowned film maker William Phelps, who directed the classic surf movie ‘North Shore’. It was filmed at Randal Kleiser’s (the director of ‘Grease’) home, and Medusa and the cast actually got to meet Randal during filming. Beats were provided by Enzo Ferrari and recording was done by Even Better Days Productions.
Medusa Son, is a Hip-Hop artist who is paving his own way in the musical world and he is doing it with style and grace.
