Artistrack brings to you ‘SOKE’ by Manofsteel Ayodele Surulere
Ayodele Surulere represents most of my childhood and background. It’s basically my journey from Lagos to Canada. I grew up in Surulere in the trenches (the barracks) in Lagos Nigeria, a place filled with all forms of violence, poverty, hunger etc. this album came as some sort of closure, I needed to rant about it all. I believe that most people from my hometown will relate to it. Surulere is where I got my identity and who I am today is because of where I come from.
