Hamr is a cinematic tribal ambient piece performed with ancient instruments from the Nordic region and throat-singing.
Hamr is the first of two singles from the upcoming album Blóta, with songs musically related to Kjell Braaten’s work with the Netflix- series Vikings Valhalla.
Kjell braaten is a musician and producer specializing in ancient world music and instrument, and is probably most known for his participation in the band Wardruna, as a composer for film, as a solo artist and teacher in ancient Nordic music.
