Kek returns with the release of his new single, ‘Mama’
This release is a more personal one. I talk about missing my mother whom I have not seen in over 20 years. I left the Sudan at the age of 11 in 1998, the last time I saw her, she was waking me up to catch the train to Aswan, Egypt, from Khartoum, Sudan. I packed the little belongings I had in a plastic grocery bag and that’s where we are up to this date.
The release is also dedicated to all women who work hard to take care of us men. Their tender love and protection of us cannot go unnoticed. I share this personal release as a Thank You .
