“Jeotheus is a Hip-Hop artist born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica but moved to New York City in 2014. Coming from a multi-cultural nation it was natural for his musical tastes to vary, heavily influenced by the rap metal sounds of Linkin Park and the social consciousness of The Roots to the more grimy, gritty beats and rhymes from East Coast rap legends Nas and Jay-Z to the emotionally charged delivery of Eminem and Kendrick Lamar he’s a product of genre blending and experimentation finding his niche between 90’s boom bap and lo-fi Hip-Hop textures to contemporary trap production. Jeotheus attempts to combine elements of his favorite genres into a rich mix of soundscapes.”
