Jay Tha Kemist is an Indiana native and moved to Memphis in the 4th grade. Growing up in Memphis he developed the grit and grind mentality at a young age. He started rapping at around age eleven and kept at it in an attempt to master the craft. They love for music has always been there, drawing inspiration from all forms of music. He also developed a passion for the audio engineering/producing aspects of the music.
