Reg is a rapper, producer, songwriter and poet. He hails from Raleigh, NC and his family originated from Sierra Leone. His love for hip hop grew after getting into poetry. He has a raw energy that conveys with the messages in his music.

How long have you been making music?

Since 2013

Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?

I dropped an EP called Prelude To… This year. It is a teaser for what’s to come. The song I’m talking about today is called Pool. Just a little jam that’s feel good and carefree.

How have you ended up in the music industry?

I’m indie

What do you think of the music industry in 2019?

The industry can make you or break you. That’s your choice.

Michael Jackson

Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?

I collabed with a few indie artists in the NC area

How do you think you differ from other artists?

Let’s just say I’m not afraid to take risks.

Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?

I always wanted to work with Prince Paul. Loved his productions and how varied they are. From De La to Gravediggaz. Man’s a genius.

What was the first album you bought?

The first album I bought was The Notorious B.I.G Life After Death

What’s your favourite song at the moment?

I don’t have a favorite song at the moment, I like a little of everything

If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album would you leave in your draw?

Damn. Hmmmm Marcin Gate Here My Dear is one that came to my mind

What is your favourite saying?

Ready For Whatever

What other hobbies or interests do you have?

I am an avid collector of CDs and Vinyls and draw whenever the time comes.

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?

No

This new project is gonna be something. It’s coming.
