Interview with Kingzo
Kingjoy Nkhwashu Aka Kingzo x3 starts his journey as a independent musician starring the likes of Geeloum,Krazie Mac,MMM, and many more… Kingzo(20) started making music in 2015 and has since dropped powerful projects under his E.P D.A.O.B (Days After Often Better)And crazy singles -Trippy Trap And Dreams .The #D.A.O.B E.P solely explains the lifestyle of an underdog in the hip hop game, it also elaborates on the struggles and sacrifices that are needed to represent the rap culture better yet Kingzo even goes on to talk about how he and he’s partners have evolved since 2015 and having overcomed scary moments in their lives to being the NewAgeCliq Society while building an empire at a young age .
Where are you from?
Kingzo is born and bred in the South of Johannesburg in a suburb called Ormonde.
How long have you been making music?
I have been making music since 2015 .
How many songs /albums have you released to date?
My first release was a single called Trippy Trap Feat. BLQ AC3 which was produced by me.Then i later released a single called Dreams which was produced by Procava and mixed by Sick Moe.Then in 2018 i released a long awaited E.P D.A.O.B(Days After Often Better) on the 11th of june which consists of six tracks dropping in singular motion .
Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?
My latest release was Greedy Jew Feat Triple MMM and Krazie Mac.Krazie Mac Associate of South African/Nigerian record label 95issue ,together with myself were on the production of the Greedy Jew beat.The inspiration of the beat came from when the NewAgeCliq Society which is therealkingzo’s latest craft were sitting in on Kingzo’s bank appointment. A few minutes later it the bank consultant said in a joking manner that the Society were “Greedy Jews” for securing every measure when it came to their paper.
How have you ended up in the music industry?
therealkingzo_sa is still an upcoming artist and a underdog if u may ask me .He showcases rare talent and skill and plans to make a killing of his talents.Without doubt he wil be soon sharing the stage with the heavy weights in the rap game.
What do you think of the music industry in 2018?
I think it’s time for a Re-up in some aspect of the culture but 2018 was certainly a great year for the underated and uncalculated.
Who do you think the most influential artist?
A-Reece the Krew certainly getting credit from me and may continue to bless the game with such gusto.
Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?
Geeloum(95issue),Krazie Mac(95issue),Sbuzi(Easternsoda), Dox ,Triple MMM(N.A.C signed),Reverend(N.A.C signed) ,KRIDICAL(N.A.C signed),Onnalenna ,But majority of the time the Studio is occupied by only NewAgeCliq or 95issue signed members.
How do you think you differ from other artists?
I’m the NewAgeCliq and the N.A.C has its own lifestyle as a preference,N.A.C has no laws or restrictions to it but rather determines outcomes by its self and it’s partners.Our long lasting culture is Honesty,Loyalty,Democracy.We don’t take no loss …at all, We underrated beasts in the rap game,that’s always counts up the tally.And we ain’t funded by anyone…We INDEPENDANT.

I play Soccer …Edit Pictures and videos,mix and master compilations,Chill out in secret places.Support my brothers in all their movements.

Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?
I am currently Working on my second E.P called Sampling Kid .In this one il be talking more about everyday life scenery and struggles we go through as a human race .

More and more Great Music from Kingzo himself.
