Hello My Name is Jaycent D Brock I am from Birmingham Al. I became interested in music when I was in the 4th grade . I learned to play alto Saxophone as well as the Tenor and the soprano saxophone to. I released my first single As the sun sets in Dec 2015 and the following year I released my First CD entitled ” If You Love Me” which is for a friend who wrote a book and asked if I could do a music CD for their book . To this date I now have 8 CD’s out . And I would like to Thank God for blessing me with this gift and I thank you the listener for listening to my music too!

Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?

My latest release ‘Radiant Love’ from my CD entitled All in love is fair the prequel to if you love me is to a book series that I am doing for a friend. The Album reflects the different moods of the characters in the book. Radiant Love for example has more of a r&b and jazz infusion within it I wanted to create something based on what the author of the book was asking for and thus the author was very pleased with the results of the CD.

How have you ended up in the music industry?

I would say that I wanted to compose music for movies and games thus I started working my way around to where I found my liking for composing music for games, CD’s or Movies

What do you think of the music industry in 2018?

A lot has changed things are not the same like they were

Who do you think the most influential artist?

wow there are so many lol . I would say Prince because he was very versatile

Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?

Nobody yet

How do you think you differ from other artists?

I would say that I like to blend different types of arrangements together and not play one

if you can’t practice what you preach get out of the pulpit.

weightlifting, traveling, martial arts

Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?

My next project will be more towards the smooth jazz side and a bit of R&B too it will be called ” Nights of Summer Grooves And Passion 3 Visions Of Peace and Passion.

What’s in the pipeline after this project?

another CD at a later Date .
