B.O.O.M. SGBH is a 26 year old recording artist from Powder Springs, Ga. Born in College Park, Ga in 1993, he grew up listening to Outkast, Ludacris, Kriss Kross, T.I. Young Jeezy & many more. He began writing poetry at age 11.

How long have you been making music?

10 years

How many songs /albums have you released to date?

10 songs and 2 albums

Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?

The “Concentration” Ep is my latest release, available on all streaming platforms. It’s 7 songs long and sums up what I was doing, going through or around during that time period. I released it on July 4th, 2019. It’s fun and has a good vibe to it.

How have you ended up in the music industry?

Working hard on my craft daily. I have a lot more work to do, but I’m proud of where I’m at, considering how far I’ve come. The journey of making music has been an eventful and enjoyable one.

What do you think of the music industry in 2020?

I think it’s faster and more direct to receiving music than past generations.

Who do you think the most influential artist?

I feel that any artist that has a size worthy fan base is influential. Artist that influence me are Nas, J. Cole, Future, Drake and Wale Folarin. There are more but those people just off the top of my mind.

Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?

People I grew up with so far.

How do you think you differ from other artists?

I feel like I say and think of things differently. I approach songs based on how I’m feeling and convert those feelings into vibes.

Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?

I have 3. Nas, Tupac Shakur and Future.

What was the first album you bought?

Ambition by Wale Folarin.

What’s your favourite song at the moment?

I like Tycoon by Future.

If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album would you leave in your draw?

I would probably leave “The Meaning of B.O.O.M.” Only because it was the first project I put my all into. Effort, time, money; things of that nature.

What is your favourite saying?

“Work for Work”

What other hobbies or interests do you have?

I work out sometimes. I like playing basketball. You may catch me on the PS4 when I find time for it. Been watching movies on Netflix lately also.

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?

I have tattoos

Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?

My upcoming project is titled “Soft and Serious” This album will be mostly R&B.

What’s in the pipeline after this project?

Creating more vibes and put out videos.
