I.B.H is an artist based in the Mississauga area who has recently released a new single, ‘Meri Baat’
May 2020 – I.B.H. is definitely not your average hip-hop artist on the scene. He has a Pakistani background, which adds a distinctive touch to his performance and songwriting skills. He went as far as challenging the usual ideas that drive modern rap music, carving his own style and coming up with a genre that’s quite innovative and revolutionary.
On one hand, his sound echoes to work of classic rappers such as 2Pac, but on the other, he also embodies the openness and eclectic vibe of artists like Mac Miller (Rest easy, Mac), and Asian artists such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The track sports a well-produced beat, inspired by modern soul-rap. There are so many amazing sonic landscapes underneath the beat, and the vocals are beautifully layered, with some tasteful harmonies that add more depth and flavor to the track.
