Eri Rhema announces the release of her new single, ‘Thrive’
Based in the UK. Thrive is my debut single and was released on 5th November.
I wrote ‘thrive’ in a place where I felt lost and unsure about myself. It’s about thriving and not just surviving in the world. The lyrics are very honest, and I hope that comes across.
I grew up in a house where music was always around. We were always dancing, singing, playing instruments – from parties to ceremonies. I started singing at church as a child, in choirs and talent shows. I later joined youth choirs and began songwriting around the age of 9.
My music is influenced by Gospel, R&B, Jazz, Blues and Neo-Soul elements. I love exploring different genres, and I hope to bring that into my sound.
