Elluna presenting her exciting new single, ‘Runnin’
Although legal records show that Elluna is a twenty-four year old from Arizona, if you asked her, she might say that she came from a nebula, supernova or star dust. Singing at age nine and writing songs on guitar at age twelve, she’s always felt a bit different from others her age and never quite felt like she belonged. She’s always felt a bit… alien.
Her love for music led her to recording and performing locally since age nineteen. She has also been very involved in the local Arizona music scene recording music, doing features with many other local artists and doing shows at local venues like The Rhythm Room, Club Red, The Monarch, and The Underground. She has also branched out to collaborate online with independent artists and producers from many parts of the world.
Her music up to this point has been shaped by the heavy influence that hip hop has had on the Arizona music scene as well as the tastes of collaborators who sought her out online. Lucky Me, a song inspired by a blooming love that is so blind it causes us to willingly ignore red flags, is the first single she has recorded that transitions from this and is truly representative of her music vision that includes influences from R&B, Trap, EDM and Pop. She is currently working on more tracks that also reflect this style to be included in an EP entitled Alien set to be released later this year. She is very excited to share her music vision with the world and build a nationwide fan base.
“Runnin” is the second single off of Elluna’s upcoming EP Alien due out later this year. “Runnin” is inspired by the personal struggle with self-hate and loathing that can lead to self-destructive methods of escapism and the realization these bad habits need to cease.
