July 2020 – Dilor is an artist and songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. He recently dropped a new track titled “Classic,” which – as the name might imply – is sort of a throwback to that classic old-school rap sound. Having said that, this is by far not a nostalgia track and it does not feel like a trip down on memory lane. On the contrary, it feels like a powerful interpretation of a timeless sound, under the scope of Dilor’s incredibly giving creativity.
As an artist, he arguably went to great lengths in order to truly set the bar higher with this one, matching his artistry with some fantastic production aesthetics that give the song a polished, modern sheen, in spite of its retro-inspired warmth.
